Frequently Asked Questions

Agentic Automation is a practical way to embed generative AI into business processes. Instead of using AI for isolated tasks, it introduces intelligent agents that operate continuously and contextually within your workflows. These agents automate repetitive actions and generate structured, insight-driven outputs, helping teams work faster, more consistently and with greater impact.

No. Agentic Automation is natively built into Avature workflows, so users can add scalable Generative AI at any step directly within the familiar Avature interface. Agents can be created or modified using natural language, without the need for coding experience or specialized technical skills.

Absolutely. You can fine-tune each agent’s prompt and define the context it draws from to ensure responses are accurate, relevant and aligned with your organization’s tone, data and goals. In addition to Avature’s predefined agents, teams can design and deploy their own, tailoring automation to fit unique business processes and unlocking intelligent scalability.

Yes. Avature provides pre-built agent templates—such as writing, knowledge, and task-based agents—that serve as ready-to-use foundations. Each template can be customized to fit your organization’s specific requirements.

Avature offers a growing library of intelligent agents that can be configured within your workflows, including:

  • Job Posting Agent: Transforms internal job descriptions and recruiter input into engaging postings tailored to each role and audience.
  • Sourcing Agent: Generates Boolean search strings and outreach strategies to accelerate sourcing efforts.
  • Screening Agent: Synthesizes candidate data—resumes, applications, recruiter notes—into clear, structured summaries.
  • Insights Agent: Extracts meaning from unstructured feedback, conversations, and documents, turning them into actionable insights.
  • Interviewing Agent: Streamlines interviews by generating competency-based evaluations and ensuring consistency across interviewers.
  • Offering Agent: Reviews offer details for compliance, highlights potential inconsistencies, and summarizes compensation elements for approval.
  • Onboarding Agent: Combines new-hire and role data into a structured onboarding brief to ensure a tailored, high-impact experience.

Agentic Automation helps organizations eliminate manual work and improve process consistency while accelerating execution across the talent lifecycle. By integrating Generative AI into workflows at scale, HR teams can shift their focus from administrative tasks to strategic and human-centered initiatives, thereby enhancing both efficiency and the overall experience.

Avature’s approach to AI is guided by the Artificial Intelligence Risk Management Framework (AI RMF 1.0 as set out in NIST AI 100-1. We do not use customer data to train our AI models. Depending on the functionality, some AI features may process customer-provided data, including PII, to enhance the customer experience. In such cases, processing occurs within private models hosted securely in Avature’s AWS infrastructure, ensuring that customer data remains within the customer’s environment and is not used to train or improve the underlying base models.

To further ensure responsible AI practices, Avature implements:

  • Bias Prevention: Annual independent AI bias audits, including an Automated Employment Decision Tools audit, to remain compliant with the NYC Bias Audit Law.
  • Governance: Alignment with international standards like the EU’s AI Act.
  • Risk Mitigation: Development of a Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment and a data governance policy emphasizing lawful purpose, data minimization and bias mitigation.

Your organization retains full control and ownership of all data, configurations and outputs generated through Agentic Automation. Avature provides transparency and governance through its sophisticated roles and permissions framework, allowing administrators to define access and ensure that AI is deployed responsibly and securely.
