Build from Templates or Your Imagination

Interface showing the Avature Agents Library with options like job description writing and email writing, plus buttons to build an agent from scratch or use a template.

Agent Builder provides a solid foundation for creating agents. You can:

  • Modify existing agents from the library to improve context relevance, broaden their scope or change the output format.
  • Create new agents from scratch, defining every aspect from purpose to output.
  • Create using pre-built templates, for example, writing, knowledge, or insights agents—as starting points to accelerate development.

Fine-Tune with Precision

Every agent can be fine-tuned through adjustable components, including:

  • Context: Choose and control the data that feeds your AI agent, from data captured with Avature’s configurable model or your own knowledge sources, to ensure accurate, relevant responses.
  • Instructions: Define the agent’s default prompt that determines how it interprets inputs and acts on them, such as generating responses, updating data or triggering workflow steps.
  • Models: Built with model-as-a-service framework, allowing you to select the optimal LLM for each agent based on task, scale, and performance needs.

This combination enables you to craft agents that truly understand your organization’s data landscape.

Empowering Teams through Enterprise Adoption

Agents created in Agent Builder integrate natively across Avature’s platform through workflows, portal applications, Copilot, and more. This ensures AI-powered assistance is embedded where it’s most impactful, enabling smoother operations, less manual effort, and faster, smarter outcomes.

Enterprise AI Needs Enterprise Guardrails

Designed for enterprise-grade AI, Agent Builder gives teams the freedom to innovate within clear guardrails that uphold governance and trust. System admins maintain full visibility and control over instructions, data sources, and access levels, and can define who has access to each agent. This balance ensures responsible AI adoption at scale while empowering users to work smarter and with confidence.

Enabling Agent-to-Agent Collaboration

Empower your agents to work smarter together. Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Avature AI Connect allows AI agents inside and outside Avature to securely access and share the context-rich data they need to amplify the value of every interaction across your ecosystem and transform individual AI experiences into a collective intelligence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Avature Agent Builder is a no-code tool that allows users to design, customize, and deploy AI-powered agents within the Avature platform. It enables teams to build agents from scratch or adapt templates for specific business use cases, seamlessly integrating intelligent automation into existing workflows.

No. Agent Builder is designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind. You can create or modify agents through an intuitive interface with natural language. No coding experience required.

Absolutely. You can fine-tune each agent’s prompt (its LLM instructions) and define the context it uses to ensure responses are accurate, relevant, and aligned with your organization’s tone, data, and goals.

Yes. Agent Builder includes a preview mode that lets you test and refine your agent’s behavior before releasing it into production.

Agents created through Agent Builder integrate seamlessly across Avature modules, including workflows, portal applications, and Copilot. This enables agentic automation and AI-driven assistance throughout HR and talent management processes.

Yes. Avature provides pre-built agent templates—such as writing, knowledge, and task-based agents—that serve as ready-to-use foundations. Each template can be customized to fit your organization’s specific requirements.

Agent Builder helps organizations accelerate agentic automation adoption by allowing users to leverage customizable pre-built agents, and empowering teams to develop intelligent assistants that align with their unique business processes.

Avature’s approach to AI is guided by the Artificial Intelligence Risk Management Framework (AI RMF 1.0 as set out in NIST AI 100-1.

We do not use customer data to train our AI models. Depending on the functionality, some AI features may process customer-provided data, including PII, to enhance the customer experience. In such cases, processing occurs within private models hosted securely in Avature’s AWS infrastructure, ensuring that customer data remains within the customer’s environment and is not used to train or improve the underlying base models.

We also take additional steps to stay ahead of evolving industry requirements:

  • Bias Prevention: Annual independent AI bias audits, including an Automated Employment Decision Tools audit, to remain compliant with the NYC Bias Audit Law.
  • Governance: Alignment with international standards like the EU’s AI Act.
  • Risk Mitigation: Development of a Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment and a data governance policy emphasizing lawful purpose, data minimization and bias mitigation.

Your organization retains full control and ownership of all data, configurations, and outputs generated through Agent Builder. Avature’s framework ensures transparency and governance, giving administrators clear visibility and control over how agents are prompted and deployed. Leveraging Avature’s sophisticated roles and permissions framework, customers can define AI access by role.
